Event Highlights

FCHIP Partners are united in efforts to create an enduring platform for improving health and wellness in Fresno County. With some of the worst health outcome rankings in the state of California, we have to work differently than we have in the past.

As leaders, frontline service providers, advocates, and community residents for a thriving community, our chances to create a healthy community will come by joining together and acting strategically to ensure long-lasting impactful change.

At the breakfast, more than 200 community leaders and members from all sectors in Fresno County gathered to celebrate FCHIP's collective work and launch our 10-Year Strategic Priorities.  Our outstanding program included the keynote speaker, Peter Long, Ph.D., President and CEO of Blue Shield of California Foundation, and special guests Assemblymember Dr. Joaquin Arambula, Sal Quintero, Fresno County Board of Supervisors Chairman and David Pomaville, Fresno County Department of Public Health Director. Our speakers presented a national, regional and local perspective on health and FCHIP put out a call to action to take our work to the next level in 2018.
